Built for the twenty
minutes after attention goes.
It started as a handful of activities built for real rooms, each one made because a session needed something at a particular moment and nothing existing fitted. There are five now, and they share a join flow, a scoreboard and a report instead of each reinventing them.
The board goes on whatever screen you already use: a projector, an LED wall, or a TV on a trolley. Everyone answers from the phone already in their pocket.
Anyone can run a quiz.
Live quizzing is a solved problem, and there are good free tools for it. What is missing is the level above: activities where the answer does not exist until after someone has committed to a decision.
Decisions, not recall
In the market simulation no allocation is right when it is made. It becomes right or wrong once the news lands, and the same call would have failed under different news. Testing a decision is a different thing from testing recall, and much closer to the world outside the room.
The argument is the lesson
Teams have to agree a position before they can enter one, so the reasoning gets spoken out loud where you can hear it. The leaderboard exists to make people care enough to argue, not because the ranking matters.
Evidence you can act on
Every session ends with what the room actually got wrong, ranked, with the explanation attached. Reteaching from evidence is a different activity from reteaching on a hunch.
The things we said
no to on purpose.
A product is defined at least as much by its refusals, and these ones are load-bearing rather than temporary.
No participant accounts
A six-digit code and a nickname. No email addresses, no passwords, no personal data from anyone in the room. It keeps a whole category of compliance question out of the conversation, and it means there is nothing about a participant to lose.
No app to install
Everything runs in a browser on whatever phone someone already has. An install step at the start of a session is a session that does not start.
Nothing paywalled mid-session
Joining is free forever and a running activity will never stop because of a plan limit. Interrupting a live room to ask for money is not something we will do.
No grade levels or subjects in the copy
The same activities work in a school, a university seminar, a bootcamp and a corporate training room. Writing as though only one of those exists would quietly exclude the rest.
Early, and saying so.
This is a beta and some edges are rough. What that means in practice:
- Expect the occasional oddity.
- Tell us when you find one.
- Expect it to get fixed rather than acknowledged.
- In exchange it is free, and the people using it now are shaping what gets built next.
